Week In the Life : Day One

Day one is done. It was, just as I suspected it would be, hard work. Zac says, 'living it or documenting it?' Documenting it, I'm sort of used to living it by this point. But I think I may have over done it, and will try to pull back a little today, I took 163 photos. I wrote out what we did on scrap paper so that I don't have to try to remember the details at the end of the week. I'm hoping that will ease the journaling for me. Only collected a few items from the day - better than nothing.
Breakfast with my early riser of the day. Ninepatch eggs, homemade bread and strawberry jam, juice.

Calder wakes up during breakfast - happy (thankfully!) unlike Piper who woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Loaded up for the ride to the grocery store.

Shopping: Calder in the mei tai, Piper in the seat, groceries somewhat in the cart - Piper likes to hold the 'good stuff' on her lap.

First load of diapers for the week sunning and drying on the line. Its windy today! Again.

Various chores are done while both littles are napping. I'd rather be doing something more fun.

Calder's up from his nap and wants a snack. Piper's still sleeping I get to read my book for a change.

Papa's home: Silliness ensues between him and Piper.

Ninepatch burgers for dinner, along with tater tots (Piper loves them - as a vehicle to get the ketchup to her mouth) and smoothies (Piper also loves them) - Zac grills.

p.s. We always eat a lot of Ninepatch goods - not just on the week after we've just returned from a recent trip there. Its just that good, we keep our freezer stocked.

Also, Stormy is posting her project on her new blog if you're interested.

This project seems like such a massive task. As I have no camera, and all my pics would mainly be the side of the living room opposite where I am sitting, I am bowing out of it. But I am excited to see your week in action!!

Calder is such a happy little boy. I love the tulips.

Cathy: He is for the most part. Makes my job a little easier. I love the tulips too. The pink are from my yard. The white ones I swiped from the empty house next door.
